Frequently Asked Questions

Who are you and why did you start this school?

We are members of the North Houston Muslim Community.  As we look around our masjids we are amazed at how we have been blessed with a large number of Qari and Hafiz of Quran.  However, there is a deficit when it comes to comprehension of the texts as they are being read.  Our goal is to reinforce and improve Quranic reading, while adding a level of  understanding.

About our Teaching Method

Our teaching approach focuses on smaller classes for individualized attention, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while receiving the support and guidance they need to succeed.

What is the meaning behind your logo?

Our logo represents students sitting in a circle reading the Quran on Quran stands.

At this time Paypal is the only method of payment.  In the future we will inshAllah add other options.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

It’s always a good idea to bring a notepad and something to write with, even if you think you don’t need it!  For Quran classes it’s recommended to bring your own Quran.

What if I miss a class?

Please make every effort to arrive on time and don’t miss!  If you miss due to an emergency then the teacher will assess the situation and make a recommendation.

Is enrollment open to sisters?

Yes we try to schedule alternate days.

Is there drinking water available?

Yes, drinking water improves students’ capacity for learning and academic performance.  So plenty of water will be available.

Do you offer lessons on Zoom?

We prefer all classes to be in-person.  But situations involving hardship can be judged on a case by case basis.
